Joe deSouza

Joe deSouza is accountable for the development and operations of Teranet’s information systems. He joined Teranet in September 1998 and since that time has built a leading-edge software development organization from the ground up. Some of his accomplishments include the development of Teraview, the next generation of POLARIS, GeoWarehouse, Closure and many other products.

With 25 years experience in Information Technology, Joe is a seasoned IT veteran and has worked in many different industries, including Military, Avionics, Telecommunication and most recently Medical Imaging. Before joining Teranet, he was Cedara’s Director of Platform Products with responsibility for the development of the Medical Imaging Platform. Joe has also held senior roles at Tellabs, Atlantis, Aerospace, CAE Electronics as well as some startup companies.

Joe has an honors degree in Computer Engineering from Concordia University.
