Lauren Boulding

Lauren Boulding is the head of Human Resources for Teranet Inc.

Boulding joined Teranet in September 2009. As a member of the executive team, her mandate is to create value through the strategic alignment of the business plans to attract, develop and retain Teranet’s greatest asset – its people. In this capacity, she is accountable for core HR services and a targeted people strategy to build and unlock leadership potential and capability at all levels. With over 20 years of experience, she has a track record in organizational design and talent management.

Prior to joining Teranet, Boulding worked at Dun & Bradstreet where she served as Vice President, Human Resources. She led the HR function for Canada and Latin America as well as initiatives across Asia Pacific, UK, Denmark and Italy.

Before this, Boulding worked for Sobeys, where she led an Organizational Development department to support a system-wide implementation across Canada. Prior to Sobeys, Boulding led the National Learning & Development department at Allstream (formerly AT&T), where she was responsible for all aspects of performance management, training and leadership development. She was instrumental in supporting a re-branding and re-shaping of the culture and company from AT&T to Allstream, and led an HR Operations function to support union and non-unionized employees. Prior to her work at Sobeys, she led other roles in HR, communications and training at Monsanto, a global life sciences company composed of pharmaceutical, nutrition and agricultural divisions and companies.

Boulding is a graduate of the University of Guelph and her professional qualifications include certification from the International Coaching Federation in behavioural and motivational profiling.
