Paytickets.ca processes over 100,000 speeding tickets
May 2, 2006 – TORONTO - Going on a summer road trip? If your rush to get away results in an Ontario speeding ticket, you can avoid delays and pay your ticket online, anywhere you have access to the Internet.
The online Provincial Offences Act (POA) fine payment was introduced in 2004. Since then, over 100,000 speeding tickets and other moving violations have been paid over the Internet. And while it's recommended that you always drive within the speed limit, if you are ticketed for going above the speed limit, being able to pay your fine online could help make getting a ticket slightly less painful.
