Dennis Barnhart serves as Director, Corporate Strategy & Business Integration of Teranet Inc.

Supporting both the Electronic Search & Registration and Value Added Solutions businesses, Barnhart provides leadership to Teranet's Strategic and Business Planning process, Balanced Scorecard, Corporate Marketing, Business Development and leadership of strategic projects.

Prior to joining Teranet in 2009, Barnhart ran his own consulting practice and worked with public and private sector organizations in Canada, the U.S. and Europe to design and implement highly successful strategic planning and performance management programs. Prior to that, he was the Director of Corporate Performance at Aliant Inc. from 2002 to 2006 where he led the design and implementation of the corporate performance management program. Barnhart has also held senior roles at Maritime Life Assurance Company and Nova Scotia Power.

Barnhart has completed executive development programs in Strategy, and Accounting & Finance from the Executive Institutes of both Queen's and McGill. He is also a graduate of Nova Scotia Community College.
