Judi Cohen serves as Vice President, Business Development of Teranet Inc.
Cohen joined Teranet in October 2011 with an impressive 35-year career in infrastructure and transportation. Her leadership experience spans both the private and public sectors and she has strong capabilities in business development, mergers and acquisitions and transformational change.
Before Teranet, Cohen served as Vice President of Business Development at SNC-Lavalin, where she was responsible for developing a strategy for the growth of the rail and transit sector in Ontario. Prior to that, Cohen was a Regional Vice President at UMA Engineering (AECOM) with accountability for operations in Ontario and Quebec. She has also developed partnerships and targeted strategies as part of the executive leadership teams at Hatch Mott MacDonald and the Toronto Transit Commission.
Cohen holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Toronto and has completed leadership and governance programs at the Canadian Police College and the Rotman School of Management. Her community involvement includes being on the Toronto Police Services Board and the Metro Toronto Convention Centre Board. She is also a member of the International Women’s Forum and the Institute of Transportation Engineers, as well as a long-time volunteer with the Foundation Fighting Blindness.
