Purview Risk Management Services is an online, web based automated valuation and fraud detection service that offers powerful resources and applications designed for Canadian financial institutions, mortgage lenders, title or mortgage insurers and other professionals. Quite simply, Purview RMS gives customers access to tools and information that they can use in management of risk.

Purview customers have cost effective access to an automated valuation model, fraud detection tools and reports; all designed to help customers manage risk associated with mortgage and real estate transactions. Information used in Purview RMS is updated regularly from various foundation data sources including the Province of Ontario Land Registration and Information System (POLARIS) data.

The Purview suite of products

Flexible and adaptable to changing business needs, the AVM and fraud check models can be configured by customers to address different risk profiles.

Purview AVM

• Provides a property value estimate at a customer-specified date with associated valuation grade and neighbourhood score.
  
• Lists comparable properties including sales price, parcel area and distance from the subject property.

Purview Fraud Check

• Contains customer configurable queries that run against data extracted from land registry records to check for indicators of dubious activity on the specified property.
  
• Provides summaries for each query and generates a fraud check grade.

Purview Notification Services

• Tracks and notifies customers about land registry activities on specified properties where a customer has an interest.
• Customers can specify the monitoring period and start dates, along with the types of land registry activities to be monitored.
• e-mail alerts about land registry activity on monitored properties.
