Collect payments online with Online Payment Service
Offering your patients the option of paying online directly from your website makes it more convenient for them - especially the patient that uses your services infrequently - to pay invoices promptly. That helps your cash flow and your administration cost is less than manually processing a payment. You receive a detailed report of all payments made via the web site each day and you can process these payments, using your existing procedures, at your convenience. There is no need to modify the roles of your staff or add additional information systems. Integration with current systems is not required, but is available, if and when the time is right.
How it works
Patients access the bill payment service directly through your website. They are prompted to enter a small amount of reference information regarding the payment, e.g. patient number, invoice number and the payment amount. Payment is initiated by entering credit card information. The bill payment service authorizes and completes the transaction in real time and your hospital is provided with a data file of all transactions at the end of each day
- A sample of your standard bill is shown on the web site, helping patients locate the information that they need to provide with the bill payment
- Security and privacy policies can be accessed from the first page to assure patients regarding the confidentiality of all supplied information
- Required double entry of patient # or invoice # improves accuracy
- An information confirmation page is shown before the patient agrees to proceed with payment
- A payment confirmation page is shown before the patient commits to a payment
- A receipt is available for printing or email
