Teraview Software: online property information and transactions
As a lawyer, you understand the challenges of juggling clients and deadlines. Teraview® software has been designed to help ease the pressure by giving you the ability to do tasks online that you were once only able to do at the Land Registry Office.
You can perform searches, create and submit title documents for registration, view and print instruments, plans, official parcel registers and search for writs of execution quickly, easily and all without leaving your office. You can even access information after Land Registry Office business hours.
With Teraview software you can access:
e-reg™ capability
Equipped with two unique features, search and registration, the e-reg capability provides quick and convenient access to the POLARIS® database. You can search for parcel registers, maps, documents registered on title and plans.
WritSearch™ service
Conduct name searches against personal or company names to produce certificates pertaining to writs of execution. These official certificates are valid for both land titles and land registry transactions. You can also view writ details on your computer screen and print official Writ Detail Reports (abstracts) simply by selecting writs from your name search hit list.
Closure service
The Closure® service is a secure, fast and dependable way to manage closing funds for real estate transactions in Ontario. It enables simple and efficient electronic closing funds exchange and management.
The Closure service provides for the exchange of closing funds and disbursements without the need for certified cheques, bank drafts, direct deposits or courier deliveries and the associated administrative effort.
Lawyers maintain control over the funds throughout the closing process. They provide the instructions which the Closure service then executes to forward payment to the vendor's lawyer, financial institutions and other payees.
The mortgage discharge notification feature notifies the Vendor’s law firm of the registration of the discharge on the property reducing the uncertainty regarding the mortgage discharge status and the number of calls to lenders. Communicate the discharge particulars to the Purchaser’s law firm with a click of your mouse.
