Kevin Hutchinson
Director and member of Audit and Risk Committee
Kevin joined OMERS in 2017 to lead the valuation of OMERS private investments. Prior to joining OMERS, he was a partner within the Toronto Valuation Services practice of a Big 4 accounting firm. In March 2024, Kevin assumed the role of Senior Vice President, Investment Finance & Valuations, leading the financial operations, reporting, planning & analysis, and valuation functions for the OMERS infrastructure and private equity asset classes. He serves on several internal OMERS committees and regularly participates on the OMERS Investment and Audit & Actuarial Committees.
Kevin holds a Bachelor of Commerce (honours) degree from Queen’s University. He is a Chartered Accountant, a Chartered Business Valuator, and a Financial Risk Manager. Kevin currently serves as a director of the CBV Institute, the national governing body for Canada’s Chartered Business Valuators, and has chaired both the Audit and Education Committees. In 2022, he was awarded the “Top CBV Under 40” award for professional excellence and leadership. Kevin is a past Board Member and Chair of the Audit and Finance Committee of Halton Food for Thought, a nonprofit organization connecting Halton students with healthy food in school, so they can reach their full potential.
