March Member of the Month – Tyler Cowle

Our Teranet Insighter’s community offers those who leverage our solutions the platform to share their thoughts & opinions, to ensure that we are continuing to support our customers in their business.

This month, we are thrilled to highlight the contributions from our Teranet Insighters Member of the Month, Tyler Cowle, Principal Broker of Mortgage Foundations, a new brokerage located in Oshawa Ontario.

Tyler has been in the industry since 2021 and obtained his Broker license in January 2023, a year before opening a new brokerage. As the Principal Broker, Tyler provides training and mentorship to his growing team of agents and brokers throughout Southern Ontario.

As an accredited professional with MPC and a member of CMBA, he is dedicated to continuing to learn and challenge himself in his business. He participates in regular industry events, and is driven to continually evolve his experience and knowledge of his market.

As a Teranet Insighter, Tyler’s favourite part of being in the community is having the opportunity to provide feedback on the products. Tyler is an avid PurView user, and continuously shares his feedback on how he would like to see the product continue to evolve.

“The customer insight provided through the Insighters community is important, as the feedback provided can drive change and improve the product so that we can use it fully in our business. I have been happy to see the changes already implemented as it shows that the feedback is being taken into account and the product is being developed to suit our needs.”

Tyler remains in communication with his clients at all stages of their relationship, including before and after funding. He has leveraged the PurView Property Report in these conversations with clients, as he is able provide them data for further insight into their property at all times.

“The PurView report is instrumental to ensure clients are aware of the estimated value of their property (or future property); as well as to confirm information about the property and properly set expectations. I regularly connect with my clients throughout the year, and on an annual basis this communication includes a PurView report in order to provide an estimated equity amount and also show the clients that everything is registered properly on their property and there are no unexpected ‘occurrences’ on title.”

Tyler is dedicated to offering exceptional customer service to his clients, and working with his team of brokers and agents to ensure they are also leveraging the power of PurView to help their clients remain informed.

“Being able to give the client this information regularly leads to communication from the clients and sparks calls with questions they may not have thought to reach out with.”
