Our most recent member of the month is Michelle Wilson Morrison. We recently connected with Michelle to learn more about her business and why she became a member of Teranet Insighters.
Q: Please tell us a little about yourself and your role.
A: I am a licensed Mortgage Agent with Yournesta Financial/Dominion Lending Centres. I received my broker license in March of 2020 just before COVID-19 became apart of our day-to-day lives. As a small brokerage, Yournesta Financial allows me to network with other likeminded and passionate Mortgage Agents. Our team works together to ensure that we do right by our customers by anticipating and meeting clients’ needs to ensure they are satisfied throughout the mortgage adjudication journey.
Q: Why did you become a member of the Teranet Insighters community, and why is customer insight important to you?
A: I joined the Teranet Insighters community for many different reasons that make this community amazing. As a licensed Mortgage Agent I have the opportunity to learn continuously through this avenue which assists me with understanding and meeting my clients needs. The pertinent and timely information provided through this community allows me in turn to assist my clients whether it be purchasing their first home, upgrading to a new home or purchasing investment properties as I stay up to date on current market trends. Another reason why I joined this community is I am able to both stay informed on decisions that relate to the products I use, such as PurView and I am able to be involved in providing feedback as necessary to share what works and doesn’t on my brokerage’s end to further assist in improving the experience users have with the products and services provided by Teranet.
Q: What are you doing to innovate and connect with customers?
A: In today’s ever-changing digital world, social media has become a prominent way to interact and engage with clients. However, I believe that it’s not everything. Gaining a personal connection and being able to communicate with your clients to ensure they are satisfied throughout the process is key. Being knowledgeable of specialized market items is something that can be essential to providing timely and unique options to clients to best fit their specific needs. I believe that being apart of a team that allows me to ask questions is beneficial to me and my business.
