Celebrating Excellence: Teranet Named a Top Employer in Greater Toronto for the 8th Consecutive Year

Teranet is proud to announce that we have once again been recognized as one of Greater Toronto’s Top Employers for the eighth consecutive year. This prestigious recognition is presented by MediaCorp Canada Inc, and it reflects our unwavering commitment to fostering a workplace where our employees can truly connect, thrive, and make an impact together.

“I couldn’t be more proud that we have won this award for eight years running! This is a shared celebration of Teranet’s collective effort and unwavering pursuit of fostering a culture where employees can fulfill their extraordinary potential, learn and grow, bring their wholes selves to work, and feel connected to what they do,”

– Sudha Dwivedi, Teranet’s Chief Human Resources Officer

The annual Greater Toronto Top Employers award is a testament to our dedication to creating an exceptional work environment. We are extremely honoured to have our efforts acknowledged through this award, which considers multiple categories, including training and skills development, community involvement, performance management, employee communications, health, financial, and family benefits, as well as vacation and compensation.

#WeConnect employees to opportunity, inclusive and diverse environments and rewarding careers.

This recognition speaks to the core values we hold dear at Teranet and reinforces our mission to connect our employees to ongoing programs and resources to excel both personally and professionally. Several offerings and practices demonstrate our consistency in the learning, growth, and well-being of our people:

Mentorship Program: As a talent-driven organization, we launched a formalized Mentorship Program in 2023 for Teraneters to learn from each other and help each other succeed. By connecting mentees to mentors, they receive the supportive framework they need to have a positive impact on their respective career journeys. Mentors also benefit from having a purpose in sharing their knowledge and experience.

Community Engagement: Teranet takes pride in its commitment to community involvement. We offer our employees a day off to volunteer for a charitable cause, enabling them to make a positive impact in the communities we serve.

Hybrid Work Approach: We continue to maintain a flexible, hybrid work approach, which supports our employees’ work-life balance and enhances their well-being.

Diversity and Inclusion: Teranet supports various affinity groups, such as BIPOC, ESG, and Allyship, to create an inclusive and diverse workplace where all voices are heard.

TeraLife: Our TeraLife social committee initiatives include events such as Dogs and Donuts to get some puppy play time, an ice cream truck visit offering our employees a sweet treat to beat the heat, and more! These activities create a fun and enjoyable work atmosphere that allows employees to connect in an informal environment.

Personal Development and Learning Opportunities: We prioritize the growth and development of our team, offering programs like the Operational Excellence Green Belt Certification program that provide training and tools for employees to apply Lean Six Sigma, Change Management, agile, and other methodologies in their projects.

At Teranet, we believe that when our employees succeed, so does our organization. We are grateful for the trust our employees have placed in us and are committed to continuing to be an employer of choice in the Greater Toronto Area. We look forward to another year of connecting, growing, and thriving together as we work toward a brighter future.
