Our most recent member of the month is Dorothy Lazzari. We recently connected with Dorothy to learn more about her business and why she became a member of Teranet Insighters.
Please tell us a little about yourself and your role.
My banking career spans over 26 years with over two decades spent within the lending sector. I was engaged in award winning roles working for three of the top big banks before branching out as a licensed professional. I love the day-to-day interactions with my clients in order to make their dreams of owning a home come true by taking a sincere approach. I think it’s important to have that approach when assisting clients that are facing financial hardships. I currently own my own business, and I am proud to be operating it under the Premiere Mortgage Centre, one of the leading, award-winning brokerages in the country.
Why did you become a member of the Teranet Insighters community, and why is customer insight important to you?
It’s important for me to be part of the Teranet Insighters community because participation is key to influence change and growth within the industry. Teranet has the tools built in for me to gain insights on market trends and provides me with the knowledge to service my clients, understand their needs and provide viable solutions. Being part of this community allows me to maintain a strong focus on providing exceptional service and tailored advice to clients while leading them to financial success. The community is ever-evolving and as it grows, it will continue to deliver optimal insights which in turn gives me the confidence to gain trust not only from my clients but my industry partners as well.
What are you doing to innovate and connect with customers?
Innovation is always top of mind for me as I am always looking at different ways of streamlining the clients journey. The world is adopting a digital approach and the dynamics are changing fast. We are not immune to what’s evolving and we too, are growing with those changes. I am currently working on a new and enhanced application that will offer a unique way of gathering application details and documents in order to digitize the client journey. Teranet’s services and products are part of the client journey and their ability to offer tailored solutions quickly is key to running a successful business. I am able to gain immediate access to market data in order to gather and provide insight into the best possible solutions for my clients.
