Our most recent member of the month is Glenn MacLaren. We recently connected with Glenn to learn more about his business and why he became a member of Teranet Insighters.
Q: Please tell us a little about yourself and your role.
A: I am a passionate lending industry expert with over 30 years of experience as a Mortgage Broker. As the COO, Co-Founder and Mortgage Agent at Tribe Financial, caring about my clients and exceeding their expectations is top of mind for me. I help my clients make their homeownership dreams come true whether they are first-time home buyers or if it’s their fourteenth home. I tailor my approach for each individual client differently because I respect that all clients have different needs and financial goals therefore, catering a mortgage plan that best suits my clientele’s current and future needs is apart of my due diligence process. As I always say, “A rate is just a rate. The art of this profession lands in the details, making a connection and personalizing the client experience.”
Q: Why did you become a member of the Teranet Insighters community, and why is customer insight important to you?
A: I joined the Teranet Insighters community to stay informed on decisions and continue to be involved in providing feedback as necessary. The tools that Teranet offers to myself and ultimately to my clients, is priceless. PurView and the endless data that Teranet provides has become an integral part of my business. Mortgage professionals are called to the highest of standards and Teranet has helped me achieve just that. I am grateful to the Insighters community for assisting me to stay on top of this ever changing market, which in turn, has allowed me to provide exceptional and memorable experiences for my clients.
Q: What are you doing to innovate and connect with customers?
A: In today’s ever-changing digital world, adapting to change is a key component of success and has pushed this entire industry to follow suit. As the client experience shifted to a digital world – from intuitive application software to document sharing, everything is done virtually now so I continue to adapt my processes to accommodate and meet my clients needs. My focus has been to continuously enhance and streamline this process for my clients while maintaining the highest standards in data protection. In an effort to connect and educate clients by using various avenues including social media and platforms such as PurView – I am able to provide the most current economic data possible. Teranet has become a massive resource for me to provide all this important data to my clients and COI’s.
