Teranet Again Named Top Toronto Employer
MediaCorp Canada Inc. recognizes Teranet for developing exceptional talent
TORONTO, ON – December 9, 2019 – MediaCorp Canada Inc. announced last week that Teranet Inc. has been named one of Greater Toronto’s Top Employers for 2020 making it the fourth consecutive year in which Teranet has received this award. The annual competition recognizes the best companies in the Greater Toronto Area by evaluating work environments across several categories including training and skills development, community involvement, performance management, employee communications, health, financial, family benefits as well as vacation and compensation.

Teranet’s Top Employer award is based on a number of factors including:
- Teranet’s support of employees who are new mothers with maternity leave top-up payments, ranging from 80 per cent to 93 per cent of salary for up to 17 weeks.
- Investments in long-term employee education with tuition subsidies for courses directly and indirectly related to an employee’s role (up to $1,500 per year).
- Providing learning and growth opportunities through the Operational Excellence and Idea to Value company programs.
- Engaging in a variety of social events and celebrations throughout the year including a family picnic, bowling evening, lunches and charity drives.
