Our most recent member of the month in 2022 is Brenda Johnston. We recently connected with Brenda to learn more about her business and why she became a member of Teranet Insighters.
Q: Please tell us a little about yourself and your role.
A: I have been a Mortgage Agent for 5 years now and have been self-employed since my 20’s. I have always enjoyed meeting and working with people. My husband says that is my super power.
Q: Why did you become a member of the Teranet Insighters community, and why is customer insight important to you?
A: I joined the Teranet Insighters community to keep up to date with what is happening within the industry. It is very important to use the best tools for the mortgage business. PurView is one of those tools; it provides valuable information that I can then use to properly evaluate the needs of my clients.
Q: What are you doing to innovate and connect with customers?
A: I made the decision that this year I was going to officially expand my business. Last year, I got an internal mentor at my office, and things started to click in my head. I work closely with someone who assists me with my social media platforms and have found an amazing referral group of ladies (real estate, insurance, lawyer, and accountant backgrounds) to work with. I enjoy being surrounded by like-minded individuals who are both goal orientated and have the same values as myself. My year has been going great so far!
