Our most recent member of the month is Ingrid Wolf. We recently connected with Ingrid to learn more about her business and why she became a member of Teranet Insighters.
Q: Please tell us a little about yourself and your role.
A: As a licensed Mortgage Agent at Dominion Lending Centres in Forest City, I have the experience and level of service that Canadian consumers now demand. I’ve been in the financial industry for more than 35 years in various forms of banking such as personal, business and commercial as well as mortgage brokering. In June 2010, I became a licensed mortgage agent with Dominion Lending Centres and I continue to assist my clients by providing them with exceptional customer service in order to find the right mortgage option to best suit their needs. In the 35 years that I have been in this industry, the last thirteen years were spent specializing in the mortgage broker space to ensure a seamless transaction for my clients to turn their homebuying dreams into reality. Whether you’re purchasing a home for the first time, taking out equity from your home for investment or pleasure purposes or renewing your mortgage, it’s important that you are making an educated buying decision with professional unbiased advice. My clients benefit from the trust, confidence and security of knowing they are getting the best mortgage tailored to their needs at Dominion Lending Forest City.
Q: Why did you become a member of the Teranet Insighters community and why is customer insight important to you?
A: I joined the Teranet Insighters community to stay informed on the latest market updates, trends and Teranet’s product offerings. I continue to be involved in providing feedback as necessary to improve the overall customer experience. It’s important to provide feedback and voice your opinions so Teranet can continue to make enhancements to their products offerings, like PurView by taking into account the feedback the community provides. As a PurView user, the community has been there for me to raise my concerns and be heard by industry peers. If you don’t voice your feedback, how will it ever improve? The information provided in the community allows me to assist my clients and provide proper advice and guidance based on the latest and greatest market updates.
Q: What are you doing to innovate and connect with customers?
A: Since I’ve been in the industry for many decades, I have various approaches to innovate and connect with my clients in order to digitize the clients journey. My clients have the flexibility to begin the process of purchasing a home for the first time, taking out equity from your home for investment or mortgage renewals by doing it all online and getting approval notifications within 1 to 2 days of applying, it’s that easy and quick! One particular tool that has been advantageous for me to connect with my customers, apart from PurView is Zoom. During and after COVID, zoom allowed me to feel more connected to my clients and be able to confirm all parties to avoid any fraudulent activities down the road. As a mortgage agent, I’m able to continue to innovate my customers by extending my experience and expertise to better serve them as they go through the mortgage process.
